Thank you and goodbye!

Updated: May 8, 2018

It has been an amazing experience for us who chose the excellent Chicago studio. I really appreciate that the ISoA at UIUC and Stantec offered us a great opportunity to study in Chicago for one semester.

Thank you, Professor Worn, for your guidance and encouragement. I would've never imagined meeting so many architects and even principals in the field. Not to mention to have the opportunities to visit plenty of architecture firms and healthcare centers in town. It is you that made the Chicago studio not only an architecture graduate student studio, but a transitional bridge between graduate study and future practice as well.

I really like the freedom of choosing what to design instead of being given a specific project. The core value of the studio was to find the solution, "Do Not Guess" is an important lesson that I learned at the very beginning of this semester. I'll always keep in mind that rather than sitting there and guessing, it is always a better way to solve a problem by practical actions.

And thank you the Chicago 8 for making this semester even more perfect. We had a lot of great memories together that I'll always cherish in my deep. Thank you Shirlo, my great great partner. I could've not made it without you! It was such an excellent experience to work with you, I will never forget your patience and your diligence.

My schooldays have ended, but my life as a student is just getting started!

THANK YOU ALL AND GOODBYE! Best wishes to everyone in their future career!
